Benches Gift Opportunity $5,000
The beautiful MICDS campus is filled with idyllic spots where faculty and students can talk, parents can sit with their children and visitors can relax. These benches can be named in honor or in memory of family, friends or classmates.

Tennis Courts Gift Opportunity $40,000
The MICDS Family Tennis Center, located next to the new athletic fields behind Olson Hall, boasts 15 first-class asphalt courts and a pavilion. Opened in spring 2001, the expansive new Tennis Center allows MICDS the opportunity to support programs for a larger number of children. The tennis center also allows MICDS the opportunity to host some of the most competitive high school tournaments in the state.

Classrooms in May and Mathews Hall Gift Opportunity $50,000
Originally designed for young boys, Upper School classrooms needed to be renovated to accommodate older students in grades 9-12. These classrooms now have 10 times the network access speed they had before the renovations. Each room is also outfitted with a video projector that can display images from a teacher's computer or a VCR.

Foreign Language Labs Gift Opportunity $200,000
Modern digital language labs will permit many types of student-enhanced learning and support. Lessons can be taught with audio, video, digital media or traditional computer techniques. These labs will include the power to save student's oral responses to file for retrieval later by the teacher, provide students' written responses in quiz or test format, offer perfect acousitics to every student and psychological privacy which reduces inhibitions and promotes speaking ability and frequency. Students can be subdivided into small groups to listen and respond to the teacher's program material or interact with each other in conversational exercises.

Classrooms in Olson Hall Gift Opportunity $125,000
Since its opening in August 1999, Olson Hall literally has become the center of campus, serving as a vital link between the Lower, Middle and Upper Schools. Most importantly, Olson Hall contains 20 state-of-the-art English and history classrooms, each of which is equipped with Internet access, a computer, a presentation unit which is permanently mounted in the ceiling, a VCR and 20 network connections for computers, printers and/or scanners. These truly are the classrooms of tomorrow.
